I don't know about you, but I've drifted away from joy.
I've allowed challenges to blur my view of the bigger picture.
Intead of fighting my way back to more joy (because that never works),
I must stop, listen and zoom out. I must reconnect with my values, my intentions and the action I can take now, to bring more progress later. There is so much goodness to be found when I'm looking for it. I want to appreciate the small moments, lift those around me and engage in life with joy and enthusiasm.
It's easy to ignore a little shift away from joy. Our perspective quietly drifts away from joy until eventually this quiet drift becomes a loud alarm we can no longer ignore.
These alarms can show up in many ways but none of them are pretty.
Impatience
Judgement
Avoidance
Fear
Distraction
Disconnection
What are you allowing to steal your joy?
What can you do to recenter?
Who can help you return to joy?
Seek goodness.
Wishing you more joy today!

Have you drifted away from joy?
With gratitude and love,
Sarah
